Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Prompta is developed by GM Apps, the trade name of GABRIEL RAMOS MOREIRA LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 57.568.344/0001-19, which is the controller for the processing described in this policy. This policy explains how the app and this website handle information, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other applicable laws. Contact: suporte@prompta.app.br.

2. What stays on your device

Scripts, versions, projects, folders, reading settings, reading position and remote control mappings are stored only in the app's storage on your iPhone or iPad. We have no servers that receive this content, and the app doesn't send this data to GM Apps or third parties.

This data may be included in the device backup made by Apple (iCloud or computer), depending on your settings. To delete it, use Settings › Delete all scripts in the app, or delete the app.

3. Sessions between devices

When you open a session, the devices talk directly over the local network or through a peer-to-peer connection between iPhone and iPad, encrypted with a key based on the six-digit code. The text and commands travel only between the connected devices; nothing goes through servers.

So the controller can find the session, the device showing the text announces its device name and the title of the open script on the local network. Any device on the same local network can see this announcement while the session is open. Script content is only sent to someone who enters the correct code.

4. Device permissions

• Camera: used only to scan the session QR code. No image is stored or sent.
• Local network: used only to connect the devices in a session.

You can deny or revoke these permissions in iPhone Settings. Prompter mode works without either of them.

5. Purchases and subscription

The Prompta Pro subscription is sold and processed by Apple. GM Apps doesn't receive your name, email or payment details. The app checks with the App Store on the device itself whether the subscription is active. Apple only provides us with aggregated sales reports, under Apple's privacy policy.

6. Information Apple shares

If you allow sharing with developers in your device settings, Apple may send us crash reports and anonymized usage statistics. We use this information only to fix bugs. You can turn it off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

7. This website

The prompta.app.br website uses no cookies, analytics tools, ads, or third-party fonts or scripts. Like any website, the hosting server may log technical access data such as IP address, date and page visited, for security and operation, for the period required by law.

8. When you write to us

If you email support, we use your address and message only to reply. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete it.

9. Your rights

You have the right to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing of your data, among other rights under applicable law. Since the app doesn't collect personal data, in practice these requests concern messages you've sent us. Write to suporte@prompta.app.br.

10. Children

Prompta is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including minors.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the update date. If the app ever starts handling personal data differently, we'll let you know in the app beforehand.
